Key Activities

Single and Multi-Day Drives – Many drives are scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall months usually on Saturday. There are many country byways that snake up and around the hills of central PA and we drive all of them. Some drives involve interesting destinations but all drives include a food and/or ice cream stop. Occasionally multi-day drives are organized to experience the roads in surrounding states.

Pacemakers – PACE has a contingent of retired folks who asked for some week day drives so the Pacemakers group was formed. These drives are generally at a more leisurely pace.

Annual Picnic – The club sponsors a picnic, usually in August, where members can mingle in a casual, non-driving environment. The picnic is pot-luck with meats and drinks supplied by the club.

Dinners – There are two regularly scheduled dinners during the year, the Spring Kickoff Dinner where officers are elected and events are scheduled and the Fall Planning Meeting where club business and event organization are discussed. These dinners are partially funded by the club. Just recently the Cabin Fever Dinner series was initiated to give members an opportunity to socialize during the long winter months.

Regional Events – These events offer members a chance to visit with fellow Miata owners at locations around the country. Regional events have become very popular and are usually well attended by PACE members.
