Key Activities
Single- and Multi-Day Drives – We love driving our Miatas and exploring the scenic roads of
central Pennsylvania and beyond. PACE members create and schedule drives throughout the
year, on weekdays as well as weekends.
Some drives lead to interesting destinations or events while others are just for the fun of
driving. Many drives include stops for food and most include ice cream. When longer distances
are involved, or for special events/occasions, multi-day drives may be organized.
Member Meetings – There are two regularly scheduled member meetings, one in the spring
and another in the fall, at which club business is discussed and member participation and input
are encouraged. These meetings may be scheduled as breakfast meetings, luncheons, or
dinners.
Annual Picnic – A summer event at which members can mingle and socialize in a casual
environment.
Holiday Social – A year-end gathering, for luncheon or dinner, organized by the club to mark
the end of the driving season and celebrate the winter holidays.
Cabin Fever Events – Scheduled during the winter months, when club drives may be fewer and
farther between, these non-driving events offer opportunities for members to gather and
socialize over breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Regional/National/International Events – Enthusiasm for Miatas is a worldwide phenomenon.
Many PACE members enjoy traveling, by themselves or with other members, to Miata-themed
gatherings around our region, in other parts of the US, and in other countries.
