Friday to Saturday, July 19&20 – Museum Overnighter

 

Join Bill and Diane Joyce for a road trip to Huntingdon County. Links to the museums and local accommodations are listed below. We will meet at Rutter’s, 1150 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, PA, at 9:00 AM on July 19, 2024.  We will have a safety meeting at 9:20AM and depart at 9:30 AM.  The first leg of the trip is approximately 52 miles.  We will stop at the Sandy Ridge Convenience Store in Orbisonia, PA, for a bio break.  The trip to Swigart’s Museum is approximately 18 miles from the store.  We will tour the automobile museum for as long as attendees wish. On July 20, Isett Heritage Museum will be hosting a Car Cruise-In from 9-4. There will be cars, food vendors, complimentary admission to the museum buildings, and more. Tour guides will be present in the three display buildings to answer any questions you may have while looking around the displays. This event is rain or shine!
