I (Matt L.) will be leading a pre-run up in coal country. Their will be a 10am safety meeting at the famous Dutch Kitchen, in Frackville PA (Breakfast is an option – just get to the Dutch Kitchen by 9:30). 

We will wind our way up Rt 339, then scoot along the Catawissa Creek until we run across Rt 487. This will take us west to Rt 61, which we will follow south a few miles into Shamokin. Heading south on Rt 125, we will give our Miatas a work out until we get into Pine Grove, where we will pick up Rt 645 S to our final destination, Raub’s Twin Kiss Drive-In on Route 422 in Myerstown.

  

The ride is 90 miles of beautiful vistas, flourishing farms, canopied roads along mountain streams, and quite interesting geological features.
