Join Bob and Kathy Brader on a drive to Muhammad Ali’s Deer Lake Training Camp. The entire camp has been completely refurbished with funds from John Madden’s son. The web site is https://fightersheaven.com/ The caretaker of the facility lives near-by and will open up just for our group. Cost is free, but they will accept donations.
Please plan on leaving the Sheetz, 3205 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 at 11:00AM for a picturesque drive arriving at the camp around 1:00PM. We will have a late lunch/dinner at 3:00PM at the Wooden Keg in St. Clair, which was an original meeting site for the Molly Maguires. This is an old pub with a speakeasy and an underground tunnel for secret movements. A shorter drive back will allow an ice cream stop in Clay if so desired. These are two very neat places to visit.
