The remarkably preserved village of Muddy Creek Forks in southern York County appears little changed since the turn of the 20th century.  Its location on the main line of the Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad made it a thriving commercial center from the early 1900s through the mid 1950s, and its general store remained in operation until 1983.

PACE members are invited to join Mike Cory on Sunday, August 7 for a scenic drive and a lesson in local history.  Tour the general store, post office, railroad station, roller mill, grain elevator, and other village buildings. Motorcar train rides on a section of the Ma & Pa RR main line are also available: https://www.maandparailroad.com

After our visit to Muddy Creek Forks we will explore several more Miata-friendly roads in search of ice cream.

Meet at Rutter’s, 201 Cool Springs Rd, Wrightsville, PA 17368 on Sunday, August 7.

Plan to arrive by 1:00 pm.  There will be a brief safety meeting at 1:15 pm and we will depart at 1:30 pm.

This drive is Fair Weather Only!

Please let Mike know if you plan to join him:  717-284-3920 or michaelcory@epix.net
