Please join Alison and Mike for a drive to Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs, where we will have lunch and explore EMMR’s extensive collection of vintage race cars, memorabilia, and historic racing artifacts.
EMMR works to preserve the history of motor racing in America, with a focus on the drivers and tracks that made Pennsylvania one of the country’s top auto racing states. If you’ve been there you know what a great place it is. If you haven’t been there, don’t miss this opportunity.
Museum info and lots of photos here: https://emmr.org
Our drive begins at Rutter’s Farm Store # 47, located at 509 Greenbriar Rd, York, PA. After a brief drivers’ meeting at 10:45 am we will depart for a scenic drive to the museum.
Following our museum visit (and the above-mentioned Pig Roast) we will travel a roundabout route to Sarah’s Creamery in Dover for “you-know-what.”
Please let Mike Cory know if you plan to participate: 717-284-3920 or michaelcory@epix.net
