FUNDRAISER DETAILS: In support of the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute
For our fundraiser this year, a need was identified to support an organization that is helping to fight the devastating diagnosis of cancer that has touched one of our longstanding members, Bill Latsha. Bill has served PACE for many years in a variety of ways. He has been a friend to many and could be counted on to help others in a myriad of ways. Over the last several months he and his wife, Jeanette, have been dealing with Bill’s diagnosis of Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is an aggressive type of cancer that begins in calls called astrocytes that support nerve cells. It can form in the brain or spinal cord. Glioblastoma is also known as Glioblastoma Multiforme.
