We are heading to Gettysburg on Thursday and Paul wants to get there via a ride that we checked out last year. It starts in Carlisle and ends up at the Gettysburg National Military Park Center and Museum.

I came up with the name just to be silly – now who can figure out what the inspiration for the name is?

On Thursday, you can say I can drive 64 and 363 daze…..

We will have a late breakfast at the Carlisle Diner, 800 W High St, Carlisle, PA 17013, starting about 10 AM.

Departure for the ride will be at 11 AM, safety meeting about 10 45, from Sheetz – 1900 Ritner Highway Carlisle 17013.

Battle Walk is what got me to take off an entire week from work. I am really looking forward to this as it is led by a national treasure – Ranger Matt Atkinson.

These 2-hour intensive programs examine unique portions of the battlefield, cover significant distances, and cross rough/uneven terrain. It is strongly recommended that visitors bring plenty of water, appropriate seasonal clothing, and sturdy hiking shoes. Please park vehicles with all four wheels on the pavement. Programs may start and end at different locations.

If you want to join us at the Campfire or Battle Walk, meet us there! You can call me at 215-720-8555 to let us know to look for ya!

Oh, I am hoping to stop by the park museum at the end of the day on Saturday, and share a beer with Ranger Matt!
