Happy Spring Fellow PACErs!
Thanks to the wanderings of Mr. Cory, we have a wonderful drive planned for Saturday, 13 Jun 2026.
He handed-off the “Scenic Southern Lancaster County” drive that he had been refining for a couple of
years. I did a pre-run today and I will tell you what – it should be called the “WOW! THIS IS A
FABULOUSLY SCENIC SOUTHERN Lancaster County!” drive.
Sweeping farm lands (with all of the sights and smells!), wandering creeks, historic covered bridges,
quaint Lancaster County villages, country churches and schoolhouses, the mighty Susquehanna, majestic
views of Lancaster and York counties, beautiful parks, magnificent feats of engineering, fun twisties, and
yes – even a “Cows to Cone” farm (Pine View Dairy – our final stop) are some of the wonders we will
encounter.
Our safety meeting will be at 10:45 AM, at the Landhope Farms, 250 Limestone Road, Oxford PA 19363.
Departure is planned for 11:00 AM. Please bring a picnic lunch, as we will be enjoying the beautiful June
weather at Susquehannock State Park along the way. I will not be making a reservation at the park, so if
you want, bring a chair in case the park is full of other fun and sun seekers!
This is a fair-weather ride with a rain-date of Saturday, 27 Jun 2026.
