If you’ve ever wondered how the electricity you consume is produced, this drive is for you!

Many electric generating facilities are located within the PACE Miata Club area, especially on or near the Susquehanna River.  This drive features views of more than a dozen of these facilities between Harrisburg and The Chesapeake Bay.

In addition, you can count on lots of curvy two-lane roads, multiple rest stops/photo ops, a picnic-in-the-park lunch (BYO), and ice cream.  Total distance for this “all-day” drive is approximately 135 miles.

Meet at:  Giant, 130 Old York Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070

Plan to arrive by 9:15 am.  There will be a brief safety meeting at 9:30 and we will depart at 9:45 am.
